I’M MEGAN MORREALE

I started my career feeling overworked and underpaid. In January of 2016, I decided enough was enough.

So I started applying for jobs. I applied for hundreds of positions that year and got pretty good at it along the way. By December, I had a 50% application response rate—40% higher than the average 10%.

I felt like I had cracked the code.

Eventually, I landed my dream job at Taboola and built their first content marketing department. That opened doors to working with other big names like Semrush, monday.com, Loom, and eventually Reddit.

My big secret—I never stopped applying for jobs. Once I got good at it, it didn’t take too much time. It kept me aware of my market rate. And connected me with tons of brilliant marketers in my industry.

With that knowledge and those connections, I’ve accomplished a lot.

→ I’ve 6x my salary to the mid-six figures as a content marketer
→ I’ve worked with 200+ clients and quadrupled my rates
→ I’ve been promoted more than five times
→ I’ve worked for Silicon Valley darlings
→ I’ve achieved financial freedom

But the landscape isn’t what it used to be. Content marketing roles are disappearing and I don’t think they’re coming back. I want to help content marketers land better roles in this new world.

I’m committed to sharing real-life examples of resumés and referral emails. I’ll also continue to share my unfiltered opinion on which jobs are crap and which are worthwhile. Plus, I’ll continue to apply, talk to hiring managers, and share templates that you’ll actually want to use.

See you in the market.

P.S. The fastest way I can help is to review your job application and strategize with you.
